Progress is now underway at the Parthenia Median in North Hills. The city provided notice in December of 2025 that the scope of work would include beautification of the median with California native plants to produce biodiversity and a habitat for pollinators, decrease water consumption and reduce debris in the median. Pedestrians should avoid crossing the median where there may be open trenches during construction. There may also be temporary lane closures and parking restrictions.
This image documents a recently constructed roundabout and ramp, cemented river rock cobble, proposed landscape accent boulders, mounding, the existing bike lane, existing trees, and a maintenance strip of gravel.
