Councilmember Imelda Padilla reports: March 20, 2025, our office led an Inside Safe operation in North Hills under the 405 Freeway on Parthenia Street. Through this effort, we successfully cleared two encampments that were obstructing pedestrian passage and forcing people onto busy streets. Most importantly, we were able to bring 10 individuals indoors, helping them take the first step toward permanent housing and stability.

Thank you to the Mayor’s Office, Hope the Mission, LASAN, LAPD Mission Division, and our community partners for their collaboration in making this operation a success. By working together, we are creating safer streets and real pathways to housing for our unhoused neighbors.
